Certain IDCOM® services or subsidiaries may use different privacy policies. Different policies will apply to those specific services or subsidiaries’ data collection.

How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information
“Personal Information” means information identifying or relating to you or your household, including name, email, IP address, telephone number, professional information, health data, commercial information, and internet activity.
IDCOM® collects Personal Information directly from you and automatically through cookies and data collection technologies. Third-party sources include social media platforms, references, and parties you authorize.
Categories of Personal Information Collected
Direct Identifiers. Name, postal address, phone number, email address, IP address, online identifiers, account names, passwords, social media profiles. Used for identity verification, communication, account creation, and site use facilitation.
Professional and Employment-Related Information. Current and former employment details, professional degrees, certifications, education background, reference information, and employment goals. Collected to process and manage employment applications and profiles.
Commercial Information. Products and services purchased through the Sites. Collected for business analytics and service improvement.
Internet Activity Information. Browsing history, search history, pages visited, other internet activity, browser type. Collected to understand site usage and account activity. See “Cookies and Other Technologies” section for details.
Profile Information. User preferences and characteristics. Collected to understand preferences and tailor services and communications.
Health and Travel Information. When visiting premises, health and travel information may be collected to protect personnel, clients, guests, and public safety.
Additional Collection Purposes
Personal Information from all categories is collected for:
- Maintaining and servicing accounts, including preference management
- Service improvement, analytics, artificial intelligence enhancement, quality assessment, and internal business purposes
- Site administration and improvement, traffic analysis, effectiveness measurement, server diagnostics, and user identification
- Personalized communications and experience, need assessment, and inquiry responses
- Promotional messages about products and services (opt-out available)
- Personnel, client, guest, and public health and safety protection
- Legal, regulatory, and risk management compliance, including legal claim establishment and defense
How We Disclose Your Personal Information
IDCOM® may share Personal Information in these circumstances:
Service Providers. Companies contracted to receive services including product/service provision, database creation and maintenance, payment processing, research, communication distribution, inquiry response, and application processing. Service Providers receive health and travel information for safety purposes. Policy requires Service Providers to use information only for services provision.
Affiliated Companies. Companies owned or controlled by IDCOM®, including health and travel-related information, for personnel, client, guest, and public safety protection.
Third Parties. Companies or individuals outside IDCOM® for their own purposes:
- Testimonials submitted through designated links may be shared publicly or with Third Parties
- Personal Information may be provided to Third Parties in response to court orders, subpoenas, government investigations, or legal requirements
- Disclosure to law enforcement, government agencies, or health authorities when: (i) unlawful activity is suspected; (ii) legal compliance is necessary; (iii) proper business and site operation requires it; (iv) user rights or well-being protection is needed (even without legal process); or (v) personnel, client, guest, or public health and safety protection is necessary
Reorganization Events. In sales, mergers, consolidations, control changes, asset transfers, reorganizations, or liquidations, Personal Information may be transferred to involved parties. Such transfers are permitted under this Privacy Policy.
Cookies and Other Technologies
IDCOM® uses “cookies”—small data files stored on your computer—to track information and site activity. Cookies enable relating site use to Personal Information.
Most browsers allow cookie refusal notification and rejection options. Flash players can reject or delete Flash cookies. Cookie refusal generally won’t prevent site use, though it may limit certain features or functionality.
IDCOM® also uses web beacons (clear GIFs, web bugs, pixel tags) for:
- Experience personalization
- Traffic and trend information generation
- Communication viewing and receipt verification
Web beacons collect browser type and IP address automatically. They work alone or with cookies, linking information to provided Personal Information. Web beacons are usually invisible.
Third-Party Analytics
IDCOM® uses automated devices and applications including Google Analytics, Ubersuggest, SEMRush, Hubspot, and Crazy Egg to evaluate site usage and improve performance and user experience.
These entities use cookies and tracking technologies. IDCOM® does not share Personal Information with these third parties. For Google Analytics data collection details, visit www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners. Consult respective platforms for their analytics information usage.
How We Respond to Do Not Track Signals
Some browsers (Safari, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome) include “Do Not Track” (DNT) features signaling users don’t want tracking. DNT signals can block websites from collecting certain information. Not all browsers offer DNT, and signals aren’t uniform. Many digital service operators, including IDCOM®, don’t recognize or respond to DNT signals.
Marketing Opt-Out
To opt out of promotional or marketing emails, use the “unsubscribe” mechanism in each message or email hello@idcom.us with “REMOVE” in the subject line, stating the email address for removal.
Account holders may manage subscriptions through their Account settings. Non-receipt of promotional emails won’t prevent relationship-related correspondence. Opt-out requests don’t apply to already-initiated communications.

California residents have these privacy rights:
The Right to Know
You can request: (i) specific Personal Information held about you; (ii) Personal Information categories collected in the past 12 months; (iii) collection sources; (iv) categories sold or disclosed in the past 12 months; (v) third-party categories receiving information; and (vi) collection and sale purposes.
Within the preceding 12 months:
- IDCOM® collected Personal Information categories detailed in the “How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information” section above
- IDCOM® disclosed these categories for business purposes: Direct Identifiers; Commercial Information; Internet Activity Information; Professional and Employment-Related Information; Profile Information; and court order/subpoena/investigation-related information
- In Investigative Due Diligence (IDD) services, IDCOM® “sold” these categories: Direct Identifiers; Commercial Information; Professional and Employment-Related Information; Profile Information; and IDD-related information

- Information is sold only in IDD services context
- Client-received personal information isn’t sold
- Information obtained providing Tax, Audit & Assurance, and Advisory services (non-IDD) isn’t sold

- Minors under 13: no sales without parental consent
- Minors aged 13–16: no sales without the minor’s own consent
A CCPA “sale” broadly includes “selling, renting, releasing, disclosing, disseminating, making available, transferring, or communicating” information to another business or third party “for monetary or other valuable consideration.”
The Right to Deletion
You can request Personal Information deletion. IDCOM® may deny requests if legal obligations exist or transaction completion requires information. Denial reasons will be provided.
The Right to Opt Out of Personal Information Sale
California residents can opt out of Personal Information sales. To opt out of IDD services, submit requests through the Contact Form.
The Right to Equal Service
Exercising these rights won’t result in IDCOM® discrimination. Exercising certain rights may prevent access to specific Sites features or services.
You can exercise right-to-know and deletion requests twice yearly free of charge. Contact IDCOM® at 1 (210) 340-6292 or complete the Contact Form.
IDCOM® verifies identity before processing requests. Insufficient verification information means request non-fulfillment. Account holders use existing authentication. Non-account holders may provide additional information. Verification-provided information is used only for verification or request tracking unless initially provided for another purpose.
Authorized agents can submit requests. Agent verification involves verifying agent and requestor identity and requesting signed authorization documents. IDCOM® reserves the right to deny requests lacking authorization proof.
Shine the Light
California residents can request annually information about Personal Information shared with third parties for direct marketing purposes, including information categories and third-party names and addresses. Contact hello@idcom.us for this information and other privacy practice questions.
Information for Visitors from Outside the United States
Visitors from outside the United States acknowledge that Personal Information transfers to, storage in, and processing in the United States and other countries where IDCOM® or vendors operate occur per this Privacy Policy and applicable laws.
Data protection and consumer protection laws differ between the United States and other countries. Using the Sites or providing Personal Information constitutes acknowledgment that information will be collected and processed in the United States and vendor-operating countries, and may be accessed by law enforcement and government entities including courts and tribunals per applicable jurisdictional laws.
Security
IDCOM® maintains databases storing Personal Information, retained as reasonably necessary for business service, operation, and legal compliance. Reasonable safeguards protect against loss, misuse, alteration, or destruction. Third parties working with IDCOM® agree to information protection.
You understand IDCOM® cannot guarantee Personal Information privacy or security. Except where legally provided, IDCOM® isn’t responsible for privacy or security lacks. You’re fully responsible for precautions and security measures suited to your situation and Sites/services use. Exercise caution sending Personal Information via email — email isn’t secure for information transfer.
Third Parties
Sites, services, and materials contain third-party website and service references or links. Except as described regarding Service Providers, IDCOM® doesn’t control third-party information tracking or collection. Third-party website and service access and use are governed by third-party privacy policies, not this Privacy Policy. IDCOM® isn’t responsible for third-party information practices.
Children’s Privacy
IDCOM® doesn’t knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 13 without prior verifiable parental consent. Learning that a child under 13 submitted information without consent triggers reasonable measures for information deletion as soon as possible. Such information isn’t used except where necessary for child or other safety protection per law.

IDCOM® occasionally updates this Privacy Policy reflecting practice changes. Upon modifications, the “Last Updated” date updates. Material changes trigger advance notice efforts. Objecting to modifications means notifying IDCOM® of disagreement and ceasing site use and Personal Information provision.
